I greet you as a dreamer unaware

of any better way for you to catch

this drift that floats its boat to overshare.

The poem and the mouth that roars it match.

To greet a stranger, first express your love.

Recall the reason why, but dally, yet.

Express your love again–be clear thereof!

Remember why; decide if you’ll forget.

Humanity, my eyes reflect your face.

How do you do? I think my name is “Dan.”

Where are you from? You wanna live in space?

(It’s kinda far, but maybe if we ran…)

Each greeting is a poem to be sung.

I know not who you are, but I am young.
